PCRID 2015 Annual Conference was a tremendous success! Keynote speaker, Interim RID Executive Director, Anna Witter-Merithew, kicked off the weekend with an enlightening journey through studies focused on personal/professional development, bringing our conference theme into perspective. Expert presenters offered topics ranging from mentorship and memory development, to understanding language attitudes, vicarious trauma, and VRS burnout. We also discussed power in legal settings, interpreting for DeafBlind individuals and the journey to CDI- all while networking, reconnecting, laughing and enjoying great fare! |
